Founder & President
Throughout her career Paula has led and successfully completed VP to C level searches across a broad range of functions and industries spanning general management, operations, marketing, strategy and business development in media, education, real estate, manufacturing, and hospitality.
As a recruiter in the 90′s Paula worked with trail blazing blazing start-ups such as Yahoo!, CompareNet (sold to Microsoft), Women.com (sold to iVillage), Move.com (Cendant), theGlobe.com and Music Boulevard Network (sold to CDNow). As her practice grew, Paula expanded her client base to include major corporate companies as diverse as Barnes & Noble, Citigroup, Bertelsmann, Scholastic, Virgin Group, Time Life, Ziff Davis, IDG, The Ford Foundation and Kaplan.
A veteran with twenty years of credits in executive search, Paula cut her teeth as an associate in the New York office of UK-based Norman Broadbent International, learning the search discipline from the ground up. In 1997, at the frontier of the digital revolution, she established the company’s new media practice. In 2000, at the height of the dot.com boom, she joined Christian and Timbers (now CT Partners) as partner, charged with launching and building the firm’s new media and entertainment practice.
In 2005, she founded Paula Seibel Associates, specializing in retained senior level leadership searches across the digital arena.
Paula Seibel joined ZRG Partners in 2016 as a Managing Director. Specializing in digital leadership searches she has worked across multiple industries including Education, Finance, Games, Information Services, Music, Newspapers, Publishing, Retail and Travel. Paula has helped build management teams at both start-up and established companies recruiting C level and senior level executives across general management, operations, sales, marketing and business development.
A graduate of The Juilliard School’s American Opera Center, Paula previously enjoyed a successful career as an opera singer and soloist performing with major opera companies, orchestras and music festivals throughout the world. Her unorthodox path to a career in executive search was fueled by the experience and knowledge she gained of the business world when she invented a pharmaceutical product for which she was awarded two patents.
